LavaDungeon

Every run carves a new dungeon

A first-person VR roguelike for standalone Meta Quest. Descend into the lava caves, fight your way through a dungeon that is never the same twice, and earn the portal home.

  • Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S
  • Single player
  • Roomscale & seated

The run

You start in a lava cavern that serves as your camp. Spend what you brought back last time, step through the gate, and the dungeon builds itself around you. Kill the boss and a portal opens. Die, and the coins you carried stay where you fell.

What is in it

A dungeon that regenerates

Rooms, corridors and loops are generated per run from a seed, then validated so every route to the boss and back is actually walkable.

Close, physical combat

Weapons you swing with your own hands, enemies that telegraph before they strike, and a boss that ends the run one way or the other.

Progression between runs

Coins and artifacts you bring home buy gear and upgrades in the lobby, so the next descent starts stronger than the last.

Comfort you control

Snap and smooth turning, vignette, height calibration and a seated mode. The camera is never moved for you.

The numbers

What every weapon costs, what it does per hit and what each upgrade level buys is on the weapons page. What every enemy has for health and damage, and how far the ones that shoot can reach you, is on the enemies page.

Status
