Reporting a bug
A report is much easier to act on when it includes:
- your headset model and Horizon OS version;
- the game version, shown in the main menu;
- the run seed, shown on the run summary screen, if the problem happened inside a maze;
- what you did, what you expected and what happened instead.
Lost progress
Progress is stored on the headset itself and is not backed up to any server, so uninstalling the game or clearing its data removes it permanently. If the game reports a damaged save, it restores the previous copy automatically; if that also fails, it starts a fresh profile rather than refusing to launch.
Deleting your data
Open Settings → Apps → Lava Maze → Clear app data on your headset, or uninstall the game. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Meta, so refunds are requested through the Meta Horizon Store rather than from us. Meta's refund policy and the request form are in your Meta account purchase history.
Comfort
If the game makes you uneasy, open Settings and try snap turning instead of smooth turning, raise the vignette strength, and switch on seated mode. Play in short sessions at first and stop when you feel discomfort rather than pushing through it.
