Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Lava Maze application for Meta Quest headsets ("the app", "the game") handles information. The app is developed and published by idansun228 ("we", "us"), the developer of the app.
In short: the game collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking. It does not send anything over the network. Your progress is a file stored on your headset and nowhere else.
Data we collect
We do not collect, receive, store or transmit any personal data about you. The app has no user accounts, no registration, no login and no contact forms. It does not read your Meta profile, friends, contacts, email address, location or payment details.
Data the app stores on your device
To let you continue where you stopped, the app writes a save file into the private application storage of your headset. It contains only gameplay information:
- your progress: unlocked items, purchased upgrades, currency and run results;
- your settings: comfort options, turning mode, dominant hand, height calibration, audio volumes.
This file never leaves your device. It is not uploaded anywhere, it is not shared with us or with any third party, and it is not readable by other applications.
Network use
The app does not require an internet connection and does not make network requests of its own. It contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or attribution SDKs.
Camera and sensor data
The game is rendered from the position of your headset and controllers, which the Meta Horizon OS provides to it while you play. This tracking data is used only to draw the current frame and to react to your input. It is not recorded, stored or transmitted, and the app does not request access to the headset cameras, microphone, passthrough imagery, body tracking, eye tracking or face tracking.
Purchases
If you buy the app, the purchase is processed by Meta through the Meta Horizon Store. We never see your payment details. Meta's handling of that transaction is governed by Meta's own privacy policy, not by this one.
Children
The app is not directed at children. Meta Quest headsets have their own account age requirements and parental controls, which apply in addition to this policy. Because we collect no data at all, we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Deleting your data
All data the app creates lives on your headset, so you are in full control of it:
- Clear the save file: on your headset open Settings → Apps → Lava Maze → Clear app data. Your progress and settings are erased immediately.
- Remove everything: uninstalling the app deletes its storage along with it.
If you believe we hold any information about you and you want it removed, write to mastervrmaze@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. As described above, we do not expect to hold any such information.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, this page is updated before the change ships, and the date at the top of the page changes with it.
